KK, you are my blossom friend.

My Dear KK,

Yes, you are my blossom friend, ever since we met in PNG in 1992. That friendship has continued to flourish, evolving into a bond of family friendship. KK, you are worth your weight in gold as a friend, pal, philosopher, and guide. I hold you in the highest regard for the intimacy and trust we share.

We have discussed countless personal and professional issues over the years, and your insights have often impressed me. Your zeal for knowledge and your ability to accomplish the impossible within tight schedules are truly remarkable. From the challenges of Cape Rodney to the volcanic yet exciting Rabaul, you have proven yourself to be a man of great determination and resilience.

“Winner” is what you think, and “winner” is what you become. Whether it was hunting for assignments or pursuing your MBA from Warwick University, you have always set your sights high and achieved your goals. You are a go-getter, a visionary thinker, and someone who sees developmental challenges as opportunities to innovate and excel.
Without exaggeration, I must put on record that you are one in a million when it comes to performance—whether in China, PNG, or beyond. Challenges bring out the very best in you. I fondly recall the immense help you provided during my ADB consultancy work, facilitating field support while I worked in ENB. Your assistance with the otherwise-impossible IFAD consultancy in North Korea was invaluable, especially considering the challenges posed by a difficult team leader like Mr. Tyabb from Pakistan.

Thanks to your kindness and unwavering support, my visit to Korea became one of the most enjoyable experiences. KK, your kind-hearted nature and willingness to help have left an indelible mark on me.

Wishing you a wonderful birthday! May the sovereign God bless you with excellent health and a long life, granting you another 40 years of meaningful service to society.

Please extend my love and warm wishes to your family—Parija, Dr. Swapna, Shantini, and Shalini.
With deep gratitude and warm regards

With love and warm hugs,

Most sincerely,
