Obituary: Dr. George P. Abraham (Jolly) – A Brilliant Healer and Compassionate Soul


It is with profound grief and a deep sense of loss that we mourn the untimely passing of Dr. George P. Abraham, an eminent urologist, a medical luminary, and above all, a wonderful human being whose life was dedicated to healing and uplifting others. Fondly known as Jolly, he was a man of exceptional wisdom, unparalleled empathy, and an unwavering commitment to his patients and the medical profession.


Dr. George Abraham was more than just a distinguished urologist; he was a beacon of hope and comfort to thousands who sought his expertise. His healing touch and kind words have brought solace to over 25,000 lives, making his loss an irreplaceable void in the medical fraternity. His journey was not just one of professional excellence but also of selfless service, where he extended his knowledge and guidance to all who needed him.

Dr. George hailed from a family deeply rooted in faith, compassion, and service. His ever-cheerful demeanor and willingness to help anyone in distress made him a beloved figure in his professional and social circles. His brother, Boss, served as a key link to the family while Jolly, deeply immersed in his noble profession, dedicated his life to the betterment of humanity.


The Global Millets Foundation (GMF) and Sustainable Development Forum (SDF), where he once delivered an inspiring keynote speech, have suffered an irreplaceable loss. He was not just an esteemed speaker but a valued pillar of support, offering critical medical assistance to many of our members, particularly those struggling with urinary health issues. His contributions to medical science and human welfare will remain etched in our hearts forever.


As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, we extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to his bereaved family. May his soul find eternal rest in the embrace of the Sovereign God, and in the glorious second coming of Jesus Christ, may we reunite with him in eternal peace.
