Ravi as was known to his close family and friends died in his residence may be due to a silent massive heart attack on the evening of 31st May at Muvattupuzha –Kerala—India. He came back after receiving an award from the Hon Goa Governor in Calicut on 30th May. It was the award of the first batch of the LLB students of Calicut Law College. He was the motivating force behind that function. He was the first chairman of the college union.
He was very dear to his friends and foes alike. He was a prolific writer in English and Malayalam. He has written a few books in English.
Ravi was the Secretary General of the alumni association of Nirmala College Muvattupuzha from where he did his maters in economics. He was an excellent organizer and a person of great empathy.
He was a globe trotter and visited some 30 countries on his search for development dynamics.
Ravi retired from the Reserve Bank of India as AGM==Bombay and was very active in many social issues. He was a great dad and a wonderful husband to Janaki. His greatest asset was his own daughter Deepthi and surely he was proud of the achievements of his two sons.
I stand in great agony in his sudden death and share the grief of his family. May his soul rest in peace
